Key terms you’ll see throughout the Clarence AI documentation.

A

Admin
User role with full administrative control over the Clarence AI environment, including team management, social account connections, configurations, and the Knowledge Base.

Analytics Dashboard
The main view for monitoring mentions, engagement, reach, and sentiment across your connected brands and platforms.

B

Brand
A public‑facing entity (such as a department, agency, or program) whose social media presence is managed in Clarence AI.

Brand Overview
The home screen after login that shows a high‑level snapshot of key metrics for the brands you manage or follow.

C

Campaign Management
Module for planning and running multi‑post, time‑bound campaigns (for example, themed awareness weeks).

Configuration (Normal)
An automated responder setup used for routine, day‑to‑day topics where the AI can safely reply using the Knowledge Base.

Configuration (Sensitive)
An automated responder setup used to detect and escalate high‑risk or crisis‑related topics, typically routing them to humans rather than replying automatically.

E

Editor
User role focused on content creation and engagement. Editors can create posts and campaigns and work in the Manual Responder, but usually cannot change core system settings or manage users.

K

Knowledge Base
The central repository of FAQs, policies, statements, and other official documents that Clarence AI uses to generate accurate, on‑brand responses.

M

Manual Responder / Manual Response Queue
Queue where posts that require human review are sent. Authorized users draft and approve custom responses here.

N

Notification Bell
In‑app indicator used to alert users to sensitive posts and other high‑priority events.

R

Reach
An estimate of how many people have seen your content.

Responses Log
An auditable history of every response sent by Clarence AI (automated and manual), including original content, response text, type, platform, and timestamp.

S

Sentiment
Classification of public posts as Positive, Negative, or Neutral, based on their tone toward your organization or brand.

Sensitive Topic
Any high‑risk subject (for example, corruption, legal issues, data breaches) that should be detected and escalated for human review.

T

Team Management
Admin area for inviting, removing, and assigning roles to Clarence AI users.

W

Workspace / Organization
Your overall Clarence AI environment, typically representing a single government agency or large organization.
