Understanding Platform Hierarchy

After you log in, the first screen you see is the Brand Overview. This home dashboard reflects how Clarence AI organizes information for your organization.

Brand Overview

The Brand Overview gives you a high‑level snapshot of the social media brands you manage or follow closely. From here, you can quickly understand:

  • Mentions – how often each brand is being talked about
  • Engagement – how much interaction (likes, shares, comments) each brand is receiving
  • Sentiment – whether the overall public conversation is positive, negative, or neutral

You will typically see the brands that you have favorited or that your Administrator has assigned to you.

Why this matters

The Brand Overview is designed to help you see potential issues or opportunities at a glance before you dive into detailed analytics or response workflows.

Organizational hierarchy

At a high level, Clarence AI organizes your environment into:

  • Organization – your government agency or large organization
  • Brands – public‑facing entities, departments, or campaigns you manage
  • Social accounts – individual X (Twitter), Facebook, or Instagram accounts connected to each brand

Your access to brands and accounts is controlled by your role and the permissions granted by your Administrator. For more detail, continue to Admin vs Editor Roles.
