Understanding Response Logs

For total accountability, Clarence AI maintains a comprehensive Responses Log that records every response sent by the platform.

What the Responses Log contains

For each response, the log typically includes:

  • The original content (for example, the citizen’s tweet or comment)
  • The AI‑generated or human‑written response
  • The type of response:
    • Automated
    • Sensitive
    • Manual
    • Test
    • Proactive
  • The platform the response was posted on (X, Facebook, Instagram)
  • The time and date of the response

Why the log matters

The Responses Log provides:

  • A complete, auditable history of how your organization has responded to the public.
  • Evidence for internal reviews, audits, and accountability processes.
  • A way to investigate specific incidents or complaints.
tip

Use filters (by date, platform, or response type) to quickly locate responses related to a particular event or campaign.

Combined with the configuration settings and Knowledge Base history, the Responses Log helps your team understand why a particular response was generated and whether any adjustments are needed.
